Austerlitz was Napoleon at his best. After becoming emperor, France was at war with Austria, Britain, and Russia. His campaign to defeat the Austrians culminated at Austerlitz. Called the Battle of the Three Emperors, Napoleon defeated both the Austrians and Russians in battle by tricking them off the high ground and flanking them into surrender.
