This supplement is an expansion to add new and unique units you can field to your choice of army.

History

1805 saw Napoleon's Grande Armée march on Austria and its Russian allies. By this period, the French army had been significantly reformed under the first emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte, but elements of its revolutionary heritage were still evident on the battlefield. At Austerlitz, Jena, Eylau, and even Friedland, these units, equipped with bicorns and led by 3 distinctive generals who stood out during those defining 3 years, would certainly be a sight on the battlefield.

Content

This army pack offers 14 infantry, 8 heavy infantry, 4 cannons, 4 howitzers, and 3 unique generals that can be fielded in your game.

The Paper Bayonet Rules have undergone a minor update. This fixes issues with grammar, uniformity, and correct point values for the division examples.

2 formations have been merged into phases for the purposes of keeping things organized and balanced. Grape shot and Disengagement.

Grape shot has been moved over to the artillery phase, and Disengagement has been incorporated as a move into the movement phase.

You can download the updated rules now at your discretion.

Thank you very much for bringing these to my attention, as I'm sure it will help with streamlining the rules and organization.

Hello Everyone,

I fixed the army sheets that still had units named brigadires and skirmishers. All army sheets should be updated. Thank you, folks, who brought it to my attention.

I'm excited to announce the long-awaited 3.2 update for Paper Bayonet.

Charles F Bryant, II - Rules editing and development for multiple years has been a huge source of support in making these updates, much appreciated goes to him, and is his career-long expertise:

"My whole intention behind the changes was to (1) help improve the clarity of the rules, (2) make them play a little more like a "real" Napoleonic Battle, and (3) to do these things without adding any additional complexity to the game. I hope I have helped you achieve that result." - Charles F Bryant

Along with the rules update, I will be covering the newly revamped British army sheets, equipped with 17 new regiments, 2 specialized light infantry, 3 new cavalry units, and 4 new highlander regiments.

Lastly, I will be showcasing the Austrian post 1808 supplement and Wagram battle map and starter set. Leave a like and comment on your feedback about this project. Thank you.

I feel it is necessary to address one of the updates coming to Paper Bayonet before release, so no one is caught off guard.

For all army sheets, 2 unit types, skirmishers and brigadiers are going to be renamed as light infantry and generals.

You won't have to repurchase any army sheets you already purchased.

These changes will come into effect within a week.

Thank you for your understanding.
