What is Paper Bayonet?
Paper Bayonet is a print-and-play war game set on a grid-based board, where players command and engage in historic or ahistorical battles of the Napoleonic Wars. This project aims to provide both men and women with an approachable, affordable, and enjoyable way to play epic-scale Napoleonic wargames with friends.

The Battle of Kulm was fought in the summer of 1813 in northern Bohemia in the War of the 6th coalition. The battle was fought between French General Vandam and Ostermann-Tolstoy's russian army. In a dramatic turn of events, the Prussian army attacked the French from the rear, resulting in a decisive victory. General Vandam was dragged from his saddle, while 8,000 of his men became prisoners.
Content Digital Download and Printing
The downloaded package comprises a 9-page PDF file in legal 8.5x11 format and a 12-page PDF in A4 format.
When printed, trimmed, and assembled, it creates a 26x26-inch map of the battle. You will need scissors or a craft knife, glue, appropriate paper, and some stiffer card for bassing, such as cardboard.
About the Founder
I am an artist from Napa Valley, California, named Parker Wright. As a child, my godfather introduced me to adventure games centered around ancient Egypt. My fascination with Egyptology greatly influenced my early life. This interest led me to learn about a young Frenchman whose army landed in Egypt for conquest and exploration.
My fascination with broader history was sparked by my interest in the Napoleonic Wars, which led me 15 years later to create the game Paper Bayonet, starting in November 2025.
